The program prepares specialists capable of delivering comprehensive medical support to football players at all stages of their professional development. Students gain a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology and movement biomechanics, enabling them to understand the physical mechanisms behind performance and injury risk. The curriculum includes sports diagnostics and modern methods of assessing functional readiness.
A key part of the program focuses on injury prevention — from training load management to movement technique correction. Students explore contemporary methods of strengthening stabilising muscles, improving mobility, working with micro-injuries and reducing overload. The program includes detailed case studies from professional football that demonstrate how to organise medical care throughout a competitive season.

Another essential component is rehabilitation after injuries. Students learn physiotherapy methods, manual therapy techniques, work with orthotics, functional training and the complete Return-to-Play decision-making process. Practical workshops help them develop real hands-on skills using modern equipment and recovery protocols.
Upon completion, graduates are prepared to work in medical departments of professional clubs, physiotherapy centres, football academies and rehabilitation clinics. They possess the competencies required to evaluate players’ physical condition, plan injury-prevention strategies, manage rehabilitation processes and support athletes’ performance throughout the season.
