Scouting and analytics

The program prepares specialists capable of professionally evaluating football players, forecasting their potential and making well-informed decisions regarding team strengthening. Modern football relies heavily on data, structured analysis and evidence-based talent identification. Students learn evaluation algorithms, player development models and the scientific foundations underlying contemporary scouting.

The curriculum covers a broad range of competencies — from technical and tactical assessment to comprehensive understanding of physiological, psychological and mental attributes of players. Students work with match video analysis, tagging systems (Hudl, Wyscout, InStat), positional analytics and career-progression forecasting tools. A dedicated module explores international transfer markets, FIFA regulations and the structure of professional contracts.

A significant part of the program focuses on neural networks and machine-learning algorithms, which help identify hidden performance patterns, discover emerging talent at early stages and assess a player’s potential through multi-layered datasets. Students gain hands-on experience with sports Big Data, analytical dashboards, heatmaps, xG models and predictive analytics.

Upon completion, graduates are equipped to work in academies, professional clubs, analysis departments, scouting networks or sports agencies. They are able to build full player profiles, prepare analytical reports, conduct in-depth talent evaluations and make decisions backed by both Football IQ and data-driven insights.
